Overview
The Oude Pastorie consists of the Victorian Main House and the Waenhuis (the old barn). Both have been lovingly restored using colonial decor and a mix of Africana and French antique furniture dating to the 1800s.
These buildings have a rich history as they served as the home to the town’s Dominee for many years. The old barn housed the Dominee’s oxwagon and was also used as the location for Sunday church services for the coloured community.
The manicured gardens feature white rose bushes, a windmill and a large swimming pool built to resemble a “Plaas Dam”
Rate is ZAR 7,950.00 per night including breakfast and a minimum stay of 3 nights is required to book the Main House.
Pastorie
The Pastorie is booked as an entire house consisting of 3 bedrooms (all King size beds, 2 en-suite with a 3rd bathroom).
Guests will also enjoy the lounge, dining room and kitchen as well as the wonderful patio overlooking the beautiful gardens and Karoo vista..
